Haven’t really done much work on the car in the last few months. Life’s been pretty hectic and I’m trying to stack money for the next phase of the build. Did get these in yesterday though:

This weekend was a relatively productive one. I finally got the motorset reassembled and back into the car. Took forever because my hoist kept sinking into the driveway (110-120* surface temps) but otherwise it was pretty straightforward.

Got my valve covers back from Wicked Powder Coating and they’re pretty fresh. Threw them on the motor and bolted everything back up. All I need to do is install the Clutch, bolt up the trans and torque down some pulley bolts and the motor is ready for the car.

Parts Shop Max (Powered by Max) Finally released an ETA and Pricing on their new Lower Control Arms. It was such a good deal I had to jump in on the pre-order. I am excite.

Looking forward to doing some wrenching this weekend since I’ll have an extra day off of work.

Switched Gears a little bit on the build, started cleaning up the engine bay and all that fun stuff. Ripped out the OEM Battery tray with a 5lb Sledge and a Chisel, it was pretty interesting.

After like 6 months of waiting, I finally got my water neck cut and rewelded.

Came out better than I expected, looking forward to not having to run a crossover pipe like an MKIII Supra or JZX90.

So, I’ve always been into Motorcycles at some level, not really all that hardcore like I am with cars though. I’ve been playing around with getting my license for like a year, occasionally beating around on a Ninja 500 while my Dad rides his 1098.

For some reason, the Ducati Diavel really speaks to me. I kind of want one, maybe I’ll get one once I free up some credit. (And get my Motorcycle license.)
